The Riff Raff debut authors events at Effra Social, Brixton
The Riff Raff was set up by Amy Baker and Rosy Edwards - friends and authors themselves, who wanted to create a welcoming community where debut authors can come to read their work to a lovely crowd of fellow writers and book enthusiasts. It's an informal opportunity for aspiring authors to chat to and quiz those who've just had their first work published, and has gained momentum since launching in Autumn 2017 to now, where the now quarterly events attract major publishing agents and much-hyped authors starting their careers.
