Laura Bates, a British journalist, launched the Everyday Sexism Project as a website in April 2012 that would be a growing document to the 'everyday' examples of sexist acts and attitudes towards women today. She has now collated the posts into a book, in which she has also fleshed out the story behind the movement, and her own stories. The book-launch party was at The Gallery, a space within the Foyles bookshop on Charing Cross Road, London.
I covered the book launch for The Londoner's Diary section of the Evening Standard.
